Wines

The wines of St. Jacques d'Albas have won numerous awards since the change in ownership.

An unremitting focus on quality since 2001, both in the estate's viticulture and vinification, has led to praise for the wines' complexity, freshness and faithful reflection of the domain's natural environment.

The domain produces predominatly AOC Minervois wines from 4 red grape varieties :

Syrah - 30%
Carignan - 35%
Grenache - 25%
Mourvedre - 5%

White grape varieties (Roussanne, Viognier and Vermentino) have recently been planted and should be ready for their first harvest in 2009.

Currently, the domain produces 6 wines which are bottled on-site. A negociant wine is also produced - but off-site.
